The quick version
Open Today > Today's drink history, choose the original day, and select the drink. Tap Edit drink, correct its details, then Save changes. This updates the existing entry instead of recording a second drink.
These steps match Frewli 1.1.1, checked October 17, 2026. Find the current release on the App Store. The examples below explain records, not recommended intake.
1. Find the original drink
- On Today, open Today's drink history.
- In Drink history, use Day to choose the date where the drink is currently recorded.
- Check the row's amount, time, and drink type, then tap it.
- In Drink details, tap Edit drink.
Day filters the list. Selecting yesterday there does not move a drink to yesterday. To change which date an entry belongs to, edit its Time as described below.
If you just made an accidental quick-water entry and the short Undo prompt is still visible, you can use that immediately. Drink history is the route for a later correction.
2. Correct the amount in the same entry
Suppose you recorded 500 ml but actually finished 350 ml. Open that drink, change Volume to 350, check the other details, and tap Save changes.
| Record | Before editing | After editing |
|---|---|---|
| The corrected drink | 500 ml | 350 ml |
| Other drinks that day | 750 ml | 750 ml |
| Logged total | 1,250 ml | 1,100 ml |
The correction reduces the recorded total by 150 ml. Adding a new 350 ml drink would leave the incorrect 500 ml in place and increase the total. You do not need an extra or negative entry to correct it.
Return to history and check the updated row. On Today, Logged fluids describes recorded drinks; the daily goal is a different number. The goal guide explains that distinction.
3. Fix the time or move a drink to the right day
The editor's Time control includes the recorded date and time. Set them to when you consumed the drink, then save. With larger accessibility text, date and time can appear as separate controls.
For example, an entry recorded at 00:10 today might belong to a drink you finished at 23:50 yesterday. Find it under today's Day first, edit Time to yesterday at 23:50, and save the existing entry.
It should leave the original day's list. Select yesterday with Day to check its destination. You moved one record between dates; you did not create another drink. The editor accepts past times and does not allow future ones.
If the drink was linked to workout recovery, changing its time can change that link or its contribution. Do not assume it remains assigned to the same workout regardless of the corrected time.
4. Review type and label details together
Use Drink type to correct the kind of drink. Expand Caffeine and sodium (optional) to review its composition. Changing an existing drink's type does not automatically replace its saved volume and composition with a new drink's defaults.
Check the actual amount consumed and the basis of any label value. In particular, review Label unit rather than treating a value per 100 ml as the total for the drink. The water and sodium guide gives a serving-size example.
Changing Volume is not a reliable way to correct caffeine. Check its amount separately. If you change Coffee preparation, recheck Volume and caffeine because a preparation preset can change those fields.
After reviewing the date, time, type, volume, and label details, use Save changes. Use Delete drink only when the record itself should be removed, such as an accidental duplicate; deletion asks for confirmation.
5. Know when the record needs another route
Imported Apple Health entries are read only in Frewli. Correct those records in Health, then refresh the connection. Do not add a manual replacement while leaving an incorrect imported record in place. See the Health sync guide for source checks and eligible Frewli-to-Health changes.
If Save changes is disabled, check for a whole-number volume within the editor's 1–2,000 ml input range, a future date or time, and invalid composition fields. These are software input limits. If a storage error appears, address that message before assuming the correction saved.
If Sync conflict appears and a drink row is disabled, compare This device and Other device. Choose Keep this device or Use other device for the version you want, then review the drink again.
