FluidIQ Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 2, 2026

FluidIQ is a hydration and recovery guidance app for active people. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may collect or process, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect Or Process

FluidIQ may collect or process account information, profile settings, hydration logs, workout context, recovery inputs, notification preferences, StoreKit subscription state, Supabase sync records, and environmental context used for hydration guidance.

When you sign in, synced data is scoped to your account. When you use FluidIQ locally, data remains on your device unless account sync is enabled.

Apple Health And HealthKit

FluidIQ uses HealthKit only after you grant permission. HealthKit data may be used to import workouts, read relevant fitness metrics, estimate recovery needs, and save dietary water samples you log.

FluidIQ does not use HealthKit data for advertising, tracking, or data brokerage. HealthKit permissions can be changed at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.

How Data Is Used

FluidIQ uses information to calculate daily hydration guidance, estimate post-workout fluid and sodium loss, personalize sweat and recovery recommendations, import workouts and hydration samples, schedule notifications, sync account data, and manage subscription status.

FluidIQ presents wellness and fitness guidance only. It does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or medical-grade hydration monitoring.

Third-Party Services

FluidIQ may use Apple HealthKit, Apple StoreKit, Apple UserNotifications, APNs, Supabase, and Open-Meteo to operate app features. FluidIQ does not currently use advertising SDKs, data brokers, or third-party analytics SDKs.

FluidIQ does not sell personal information. HealthKit data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties for tracking.

Data Retention And Account Deletion

Local app data remains on your device unless you sign in and sync to Supabase. Synced data is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

You can delete synced account data inside FluidIQ from Profile > Delete FluidIQ Account. The deletion flow removes the account, deletes synced FluidIQ records where supported, signs out the local session, and resets local app data on the device.

Account deletion help is also available at fluidiq.app/account-deletion.

Security

FluidIQ uses Apple platform security, Supabase authentication, HTTPS/TLS, and user-scoped backend policies. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, but the app is designed to limit data access to your account and device.

Children

FluidIQ is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or object to processing of your personal information. European users may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a local supervisory authority.

California users may request information about categories of data collected, request deletion, and opt out of sale or sharing. FluidIQ does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

App Tracking Transparency

FluidIQ does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies and does not access the IDFA.
