Frewli Privacy Policy
Water Tracker: Frewli is a free hydration and recovery guidance app for active people. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may collect or process, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect Or Process
Frewli may collect or process account information, profile settings, hydration logs, workout context, recovery inputs, notification preferences, Supabase sync records, and environmental context used for hydration guidance.
- Account information: a persistent Supabase user ID for your anonymous or email-linked cloud account, and your email address when you use email sign-in.
- Profile information: name, age, sex, body weight, hydration habits, sweat tendency.
- Hydration data: manual water logs, timestamps, and source labels such as Manual, Apple Health, or Apple Watch.
- Health and fitness data: workouts, duration, active energy, heart rate, heart-rate zone estimates, distance, body mass, and dietary water after you grant Apple Health permission.
- Recovery and wellness inputs: sweat calibration values, thirst, headache, urine color, perceived fatigue, caffeine, alcohol, sodium, electrolytes, sleep quality, and free-text notes attached to recovery or fluid-exposure records.
- Environment context: temperature, humidity, elevation, UV exposure, and training coordinates used for weather and recovery guidance. These coordinates may come from a preset or custom location, or a representative averaged location derived from an imported Apple Health workout route when available and permitted.
- Notification data: notification preferences and an APNs push token linked to your cloud user ID when push notifications are enabled.
- Legacy subscription fields may remain in existing profiles for compatibility. Current app access is free and there is no purchase flow.
Frewli saves your data on your device first. When cloud sync runs, it may create an anonymous Supabase account before you add an email address. Profile settings, water logs, workouts, recovery and exposure records (including your notes), training coordinates, calibration, and preferences can sync under that persistent user ID. Optional email sign-in helps you restore access on another device. Usage analytics is processed separately by Google Analytics.
Apple Health And HealthKit
Frewli uses HealthKit only after you grant permission. HealthKit data may be used to import workouts, read relevant fitness metrics, estimate recovery needs, and save dietary water samples you log.
Frewli does not use HealthKit data for advertising, tracking, or data brokerage. HealthKit permissions can be changed at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
How Data Is Used
Frewli uses information to calculate daily hydration guidance, estimate post-workout fluid and sodium loss, personalize sweat and recovery recommendations, import workouts and hydration samples, schedule notifications, and sync account data.
Frewli presents wellness and fitness guidance only. It does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or medical-grade hydration monitoring.
Third-Party Services
Frewli may use Apple HealthKit, Apple UserNotifications, APNs, Supabase, and Open-Meteo to operate app features. When configured and enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase measures fixed screen and feature interactions. Frewli does not use advertising SDKs or data brokers.
Usage analytics includes an app instance identifier, device/app context, and approximate region derived by Google Analytics from masked IP addresses. Frewli does not send hydration amounts, workout measurements, HealthKit records, profile fields, location coordinates, email addresses, or cloud account IDs to Firebase. Advertising identifiers and ad personalization are disabled. Turn off collection in You > Privacy > Usage analytics.
Frewli does not sell personal information. HealthKit data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties for tracking.
Website Analytics
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages help visitors and how often visitors continue to the App Store. Vercel provides cookie-free, aggregated visitor and page-view measurement, including referring site, approximate country, browser, operating system, and device type. It does not track you across websites. The hosting provider also processes ordinary request information to serve and secure the website.
Our analytics code removes query strings and URL fragments before sending page URLs. App Store interactions contain only the button placement, public app ID, and page path. On the current hosting plan, a brief redirect page measures Frewli App Store click-throughs as page views. A click-through does not confirm an app download. We do not send support-form text, email addresses, health records, or app account information to website analytics. Website measurement is separate from the app's optional Firebase usage analytics.
Website analytics respects your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also turn it off for this browser below. This saves only your analytics preference locally. See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy information.

Data Retention And Account Deletion
Local records remain on your device. When cloud sync runs, records may also be held in an anonymous or email-linked Supabase account. Enabled usage analytics is separate from account sync. Synced data is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
You can delete synced account data inside Frewli from You > Account & sync > Delete Frewli account. This works for the anonymous or email-linked account currently active in the app; you do not need to add an email address first. The deletion flow removes the account, deletes synced Frewli records, signs out the local session, and resets local app data on the device after deletion succeeds. Original Apple Health records remain in Apple Health.

Security
Frewli uses Apple platform security, Supabase authentication, HTTPS/TLS, and user-scoped backend policies. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, but the app is designed to limit data access to your account and device.
Children
Frewli is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or object to processing of your personal information. European users may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a local supervisory authority.
California users may request information about categories of data collected, request deletion, and opt out of sale or sharing. Frewli does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
App Tracking Transparency
Frewli does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies and does not access the IDFA.
